Los orígenes de la NIVADA se remontan a finales del siglo
XIX, una época caracterizada por un fuerte impulso a
la ciencia y a la tecnología. En 1879 nació la
que entonces fuera una pequeña empresa familiar.Ello
ocurrió en el corazón de Grenchen , una pequeña
localidad al noreste de Suiza que , junto con Ginebra y Berna
, contribuyó a que este país europeo fuera reconocido
como el productor de relojes de la más alta calidad en
el mundo.
The origin of Nivada goes as far as the end of the XIX Century.
This Century was characterized by a great impulse in science
and technology. In 1879 a familiar factory started the manufacture
of watches in the heart of Grenchen, a small town located at
the Northeast of Switzerland, near Geneve and Bern. This factory
contributed to the fact that a small European country was known
as a producer of watches of the highest quality throughout the
world.
